Normally expensive shotcrete is used with tiebacks and then the wall is shored up then walls are poured . Insu-Built uses re-useable temp block walls and our wall system is installed to the thickness specified by our structural engineer(12” to 14”) then our exterior retaining wall which later becomes our house foundation wall.
Location : Sumas Mountain , Abbotsford , BC
The Challenge : Building a 30 foot retaining wall to Build Houses on the side of a steep mountain.
